I remember the first time I felt it—that deep, inexplicable connection to the earth, like roots stretching out into the soil, grounding me. I had lost the connection for a while, but when I lost both parents to cancer, my Dad first, in 2020, then my mom 6 months later in 2021, it shook my world. I watched them both eaten away by this horrible disease and could do nothing about it. In that moment I set out on a journey to reconnect with nature and embarked upon a holistic lifestyle to change the narrative of cancer treatment. I started a second PhD, this time in Herbology and Phytotherapy to learn all I could about cancer fighting herbs and other herbs that could help with the treatment of other life threatening and autoimmune diseases to help myself, loved ones people around me. How I saw it, I was never going to sit back and depend on only pharmaceuticals and man-made drugs to heal myself or anyone I loved again. If cancer showed up in the lives of my loved ones, I would be ready to affect this narrative.

So, I started my holistic journey. It was more beautiful than I imagined it would be. Studying these herbs felt like home—Eden—and it's what inspired me to create "Return II Eden Healing."

Nature is medicine. Whether basking in the sun, or walking barefooted on the raw earth, being under a moonlit sky or just being present in nature is a major part of healing.

I've always been passionate about holistic healing, whether through walking barefooted on the raw earth or under a full moon or herbal teas that whisper secrets of ancient remedies. But life is funny; sometimes, you have to face your deepest fears and most painful struggles before truly understanding the beauty around us. For me, it was losing both my parents especially my mother—a beacon of love and light—to cancer. She always believed in healing through nature, just like I do now.

My late parents Anthony and Cynthia Reid. My Dad transitioned September 2020 after a 6 months battle with cancer of the bladder, and my mom 6 months later, 3 months after being diagnosed with uterine cancer.

I am pursuing this nonprofit dream passionately because no one should have to suffer the way my parents did or go through what I went through watching them suffer, then die. All treatment offered to patrons will be free as nature literally has the cure for all sicknesses even cancer and healthcare should be accessible and free for everyone. Yet, dreams like this require resources—lots of them. In order to create a beautiful healing sanctuary for the exhausted and sick much effort will be needed. That’s why I need your help. Every dollar raised brings us closer to making "Return II Eden Healing Xperience " a reality, not just a dream. It's about helping others find their own moment of peace, heal, and get another opportunity to live a life of meaning and purpose, just as I did.
